Traveling Times

Do you travel?  Are you a road warrior by day? If you are like me - I am a self-confessed reformed over-packer.  It seems that the carry on bag thing isn't going away with all those airline fees, so here are some great ways to help pare down in the packing department.

Here is a link to a great slide show from the NY Times.....how to pack for 10 days in a carry-on, seriously!

Trish Mc Evoy has amazing little make-up palettes that are the size of a credit card.  Super easy to pop in a clutch or if you are tight on space, ideal for a trip, these "Beauty Emergency Card's" come in lip and eye palette's and are all really wearable colors.  The eye card includes shadow, eye liner and brow color.

Muji

Asian, zen and sreamlined describes Muji
Perfect for guys too - the design style here is spare and knida masculine and very wallet friendly.  I loved these stackable acrylic pots for transporting creams and powders, and a complete steal for $3.25.  They even have labels available to purchase..........

Ebags  carries these nifty packing cubes....$30-$40 depending on which set you purchase.  They come in a variety of colors, so if you need to take the kids on an international flight, you can color code by person and share bags.  They make packing and unpacking a snap, and as you empty, refill with dirty duds.  An added bonus is when the TSA is rifling through your bag it won't get all discombobulated.
